This week, the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland is hosting its annual Heads of Mission conference, when Ireland’s Ambassadors, Permanent Representatives, and Consuls General from over 90 missions in our global network gather to discuss the significant challenges in the geopolitical landscape and Ireland’s place in this changing world. The title of this year’s conference is Global Ireland Summit 2020 - ‘Renewal, Recovery, Replenishment’ and all sessions will take place online.
We would like to invite you join us for the three public sessions over the coming days which will feature expert speakers such as Dr Michael Ryan, Executive Director, WHO Health Emergencies Programme and Samantha Power, former US Ambassador to the UN, to name but a few.
Further details about the panellists, times and links to the sessions can be found below. We believe that each panel will offer excellent insights into the issues that many countries are facing at this time and what Ireland is doing to tackle these shared issues.
