This event was organized by a group of institutions led by the Society of Irish Latin American Studies (SILAS) and the Brazilian Association of Irish Studies (ABEI). It counted with the support of Culture Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland in Buenos Aires. The National University of La Pampa, The National University of San Martin – IDEAS (Institute of Advanced Research Studies), Academia de Historia de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Ministerio "Puertas del Bicentenario," and the newspaper The Southern Cross, were in the Local Committee.
