Encontro com os Estudos Irlandeses: “Oscar Wilde: Os Manuscritos e o Retrato de Dorian Gray” com Fábio Waki

On April 7, postdoctoral researcher Fábio Waki will give the lecture “Oscar Wilde: Os Manuscritos e o Retrato de Dorian Gray” which aims to examine the manuscripts of the Irish writer Oscar Wilde and offer a brief genetic criticism of the originals that gave rise to his major work The Picture of Dorian Gray (1890). The goal is to clarify the institutional and material conditions in which these manuscripts are currently preserved and to highlight some features of the novel’s composition process.
