From September 9 the W. B. Yeats Chair of Irish Studies will offer the Post-Graduate discipline Poéticas da Insurgência: o Espaço Literário Contemporâneo nas Literaturas de Língua Inglesa (FLM6113-2).
Professor Sandra Regina Goulart Almeida (UFMG) and Professor Laura Izarra (USP) will analyze the works of contemporary writers who discuss the complex and multifaceted universe of women in contemporary contexts while underscoring the critical function of literature through their fictional narratives and non-fictional work, autobiographic and autofiction.
In-site classes from 2pm to 6pm:
- September: 9, 10, 16 e 17;
- October: 7, 8, 28 e 29;
- November: 18 e 19;
- December: 2 e 3.
The discipline will be taught in Portuguese and English, bibliographical references in English.
