The W. B. Yeats Chair of Irish Studies at the University of São Paulo is pleased to invite everyone to the Opening of the 2026 Academic Activities, an annual lecture series marking the beginning of the academic year, on March 13 (Friday), starting at 2:00 p.m.
The event will feature a lecture by Dr. Claudia Parra in celebration of the 100th anniversary of The Plough and the Stars, by Seán O’Casey. In addition, the program will feature a lecture by Dr. Fábio Waki, a researcher affiliated with the W. B. Yeats Chair and a specialist in Oscar Wilde, as well as a roundtable with researchers from the W. B. Yeats Chair presenting their ongoing studies.
