On February 10 (Tuesday), at 1:20 p.m., the W. B. Yeats Chair of Irish Studies will host a workshop featuring the presentation and discussion of traditional Irish music and songs with the group Bonde do Bloomsday, made up of Caio Gregory (fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and vocals), Bruno Oliveira (bodhrán and percussion), Marcus Disessa (tin whistle and flutes), and Raisa Mota (vocals).
Highlight: Raisa Mota is a master’s student of the Graduate Program in English Language and Literature Studies, with research in Irish Studies focused on Irish song memory through James Joyce’s Ulysses (1922).
