Curso de Extensão: Poéticas do Trauma no Teatro Irlandês
Objetivo
Analisar as representações da espectralidade no teatro irlandês moderno e contemporâneo, investigando como fantasmas, presenças ausentes e figuras liminares articulam questões de memória, trauma, identidade e história. Por meio da leitura e discussão de peças de W. B. Yeats, Samuel Beckett, Conor McPherson e David Ireland, o curso busca compreender as transformações das figuras fantasmáticas na dramaturgia irlandesa entre os séculos XX e XXI, bem como suas relações com contextos históricos, culturais e políticos específicos.

Objectives:
The main objective of the course is to analyze, through a selection of narratives by contemporary women writers, the critical function of literature and the ways in which these authors use literary space as an arena of resistance, insurgency, and engagement with the world. It also aims to investigate how these works contribute to critical reflection on contemporary society and public debate, particularly at the intersection of space and gender.
